“Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, the answers will come to us.”
-Julia Cameron, author of “The Artist’s Way”

Are you ready to experience the transformative power of “The Artist’s Way”? Whether you’ve already read the book or are new to it, the concepts in this groundbreaking work can help blast through creative blocks, discover hidden talents, and enliven every day with the joy of art. Using tools such as the Morning Pages and Artist Dates, we will explore what it means to live a creative life. You don’t have to call yourself an artist to enjoy the benefits of this experience. You simply need to have an open mind and a willing heart.

We will meet Monday evenings, Jan. 10 through April 4. Our first meeting will be an orientation to discuss the basic spiritual principles of “The Artist’s Way” and get to know each other in a relaxed, casual setting. The next 12 sessions will cover each of the 12 chapters of the book. Through this intensive process, we will explore the concepts of the book together in a safe, supportive environment.

The early-bird price for this “Artist’s Way” exploration is just $80 for all 13 sessions. Early-bird registration ends Dec. 15, after which the cost will be $99. Space is limited, so please register quickly in order to ensure your spot. As Julia Cameron reminds us, when we’re ready, “leap and the net will appear.”

About the facilitator: Rachel Moore holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and spent 14 years crafting headlines and editing copy for daily newspapers. Her first experience with “The Artist’s Way” was through a group of women in Boise, Idaho, 12 years ago. The book uncovered hidden talents and artistic desires for Rachel that continued to unfold as she led her own “Artist’s Way” group ten years later. This will be Rachel’s fourth time facilitating such a group in San Diego, and she takes seriously author Julia Cameron’s advice that leaders should also be participants in the group’s artistic recovery process.
