Twice the Puja

Friday July 21st, 8-11 PM
at the Heartwisdom Temple in North Park, San Diego
Open to All levels.

This is going to be a juicy experimental event, playing with the notion that intimate connections can be done lovingly with or without sensuality. What this means in practice is that we will do a series of 5 minute partnered exercises. The exercises will vary from gazing into another person’s eyes, to dancing with them, to playing with giving and receiving different types of touch. We will be rotating partners through fun, playful, and sensual exercises. The experimental part is that the group will rotate partners through everyone in the room, allowing you to make connections with both the gods and goddesses. This allows you to explore working with different polarities of energy (masculine and feminine) within a tantric framework.

All boundaries will be respected, and we will try to offer options in the exercises that are both loving with and without the sensuality. So for example if the exercise is dancing with your partner, we might have you either do a back-to-back contact dance where you support the other person so no one falls down, or a cheek-to-cheek dance for more intimacy.

The tantra puja is a sacred ceremony to experience the divine by connecting with another soul. It’s time to have a puja where you get to experience this with EVERYONE. We welcome couples and singles of all sexual orientations to come help us create twice the puja.
