Moon in Pisces — Bring your Dreams to Life
Today I was so deeply moved by a lovely sixty-something lady who ordered my Lingam Massage DVD. She shared with me that she was soon to be reunited with her sweetheart of 40 years ago and wanted to give something special to him in the form of a loving and spiritual massage. This is a marvelous example of what I have learned to be true over the last several years of teaching and learning from my students — healthy sex and loving connection together are a recipe for lasting love.
Yesterday this theme of lasting love turned up again. According to my mother, my grandmother and grandfather knew each other for around 20 years before they courted and married. Hired by my grandfather as a farm hand when she was still a young woman, my grandmother became a friend of the family and worked for my grandfather in his many businesses through the years. A few years after his first wife died, he asked her to marry him, and they went the next day to the courthouse to be married. By the time my grandmother went to rejoin the ancestors, they had been married for 30 years. All my memories of my grandparents are of them laughing and talking and just generally enjoying each other’s company. As far as anyone could tell, they were very much in love until the end, and according to my mother they had a very healthy sex life. In fact, my mother was born when her father was close to 70 years old!
Knowing that sex and love can last well into our later years is great news for me personally as I start to see my first grey hairs and begin the journey through “the change”. My beloved and I aren’t sixty yet, but we have known each other for 30 years, and been friends or lovers throughout most of that time. Now, after all this time, we’ve decided to finally explore a deep partnership together. It helps to know that others have gone before me on this path, and that healthy sex and a lot of love are part of it. To help keep those fires alive, one of the practices that we do together is the Sacred Lingam Massage.
The last time we did this practice together, I was stunned at how grateful he was to me for touching him with the deep love and reverence that the Lingam Massage Ceremony creates. It seemed especially powerful for him to receive this touch without any expectations for him to make love with me or “satisfy” me in any way afterward. In fact, after we completed the ceremony together we cuddled and ate and then watched a movie.
After the massage I noticed a very pleasant buzzing and tingling in my yoni when we made love a few days later. The energy inside his body and his lingam had changed. It felt as if our bodies were exchanging love, healing, and spiritual transformation (not to mention a lot of pleasure!) through our lovemaking.
The Sacred Lingam Massage event is my offering back to the community in gratitude for all I have received and learned from this practice.
If you would like to learn how to bring this practice into your own partnership, come join me on Saturday, June 25th from 8-11 PM for my ONLY sacred Lingam Massage event of the year. The event is open to couples only, and we create a safe, sacred and nurturing environment for diving deeply into this sacred practice.
Please feel free to email me at kypris@yabyummy.com if you have any questions about the event.
Namaste,

Moon in Capricorn — Put your Roots into the Earth
“Through trance journey and dance work, we find full connection to our soul’s center or purpose, which teaches us the exquisite awareness of ourselves needed for sacred sexual practice. We must understand our own magnificence and have compassion for all our failings as well. Only through awareness can we begin to heal, and only through healing can we come to full tantric connection. Anything in your emotional field that is unpleasant contracts you. If you are contracted you can never fully connect, because the connection and ultimately the merging that you will find in tantra comes from a full openness. You can only be open if you feel safe. So the work in soul gazing is to unlock the gates to our deep, dark, and denied selves. We open the gates to our underground vastness and go within to see what wants to be brought up into the light. Once we have done this work, we become freer and we begin to have a fuller connection to ourselves and to our partners. “

Moon in Capricorn — Let Go and Come Down to Earth
“The basics of breathing are simple. Begin with a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. This helps you to discharge and let go when you are holding a lot of thoughts or emotions. For most of us this is the place to begin, because as humans we are almost always holding on to something that we no longer need. Begin your breath practice by breathing out through your mouth and imagining that you are letting go of any emotions or thoughts that no longer serve you. “

Full Moon and Eclipse in Sagittarius — Heal your Spiritual Shadows
“Heartfulness requires that your meditation become a constant thing. You begin by spending some time each day feeling your feelings. But over time, the practice becomes to allow yourself to feel every minute of every day. (Just as mindfulness becomes an awareness of your thoughts every moment of every day). “

Moon in Sagittarius — Let Spiritual Fire Transform You
“A way to go deeper with experiencing and balancing the elemental
energies in yourself is to add movement. I have become passionate about
dropping into the ecstasy of movement, and have made it a very large
part of my spiritual practice. I am often transfixed by watching it liberate
things in me as I move. It is the practice that always works to balance
me, free me from fear, and bring me into communion with all that is.
Dancing the elements brings me into a place of visceral knowledge about
my state of balance and my relationship to each element. As I move, my
body speaks to me in a language of wisdom and awareness that bypasses
the analytical mind. I come to know without knowing how I know.”

Moon in Leo – Open to your Inner Power
In life it is important to honor the points of change with conscious attention. Remembering that what I focus my attention on expands, I use ceremony to celebrate my gratitude for changes that have been wanted and anticipated. In this way I open to the reality that I am a powerful being and I create my own reality, and I say thank you for all the miracles.

Moon in Leo — Celebrate Grand Passion
Rhythm is how most of us define love, a rhythm that we fall into with our beloved. That was always true for me. If a relationship was working it had a reliable and dependable rhythm. But this has changed. I no longer need that rhythm to feel safe, and I welcome change. Magic and passion are more important to me now– the deep passion that comes from a powerful heart connection. I am learning to open to the gateway of my heart.

Moon in Cancer — Focus on Nurturing
To cultivate receiving is tricky. It is not only asking to receive the things you want, but also allowing your partner to give those to you in a way that works for them. Think about it. You would probably hate it if your partner asked you for something like a massage and then proceeded to tell you how to do the massage! This is not receiving. When you control your partner like this it tells them that you don’t trust them. If you truly don’t, then it is time to go back to the bottom of the True Love pyramid and do some work with trust. Only with that foundation of trust in the relationship and safety in yourself does receiving feel safe.

Moon in Gemini — Improve your Communication
“Transparency is an important part of a heart connection. WIth someone that I am truly deeply in love with, the ability to share whatever is in my heart is easy. The trick with transparency is not just to blurt whatever first comes into your head. In some cases, total honesty can be too brutal for your partner to hear. It is important to think before you speak, use “I” statements, and in general be compassionate with your words. “

Moon in Taurus — Open to the Sensuality of your Heart
Richness enfolds our emotional life when we open our hearts. The
open heart is a metaphor for a feeling of love that we experience in our
physical body. For me the open heart feels like a physical sensation of
tingling in my chest and breasts. And sometimes an open heart can feel
like horrible wrenching grief and sadness in my chest. The open heart is
not always about joy, but it is always about authenticity, about a better
way to be in the world, a way that cultivates peace, love, and flexibility.
Why flexibility? What does that have to do with love? Well, if you think
about it, there is an association of softness that comes with the open
heart, and this softness, this pliability of the heart, is what allows love
to flow between two people. We have talked about the spiritual connection
that is the beginning of the tantric connection. In shamanic tantra,
the spiritual connection flows primarily between the hearts and genitals
of the lovers. When you create a circuit that connects the genitals to
the heart, you create an opulent and sensual connection unlike anything
you may have experienced before. The power of the heart connection is
that you can create it intentionally. Osho, a great practitioner of tantra
from India, said that the ultimate tantric should be able to make love to
anyone. I feel the truth of this in my body when my heart opens wide.
With my heart soft and able to receive another into my soul, I drop into
a state of loving ecstasy where a sexual spiritual connection to anyone
is possible. It is a state of love that no longer allows me to focus on the
separation, the differences, between myself and another human being.
It is a state of love that I hope to live in at all times someday. It is a state
of love that allows me to be peaceful and joyous and accepting of others
exactly as they are.
