I can not possibly tell you how much the work we did yesterday means to me. There were so many past obstacles that we tackled, almost effortlessly. Dancing, playing, touching you in the way I wanted to, really wanting to make love and also doing so in a new way, staying open and loving the entire time. A month ago all of these things were such a struggle. Today I cried feeling so much joy radiating from every part of me that it came spilling out in my smile, song, movement, and laughter. I’m not afraid. I understand what it can be now.

I am glowing. The world is different today and I am breathing in the breeze, the sounds, the life. My fluffy white throw blanket feels softer than ever. The lentil tortilla soup I made last night when I got home smelled so spicy and warm and its the first time I looked at food as a blessing from the earth and not something for which I must have willpower over.

I’m off now to my girlfriend’s for SND (Saturday Night Dinner). Once a month we host a dinner where all of us bring new friends as a way of sharing our great connection with each other. I can’t wait to share this joy that is radiating from me.

Kypris and Steven were ever-respectful of my boundaries and were very present with me through the entire session. I felt very safe, and cared for. When I met Steven I was in the midst of a deep training to discover the most essential part of being a woman. I was coming to grips with the knowledge that I had spent my entire life denying myself pleasure because I was holding on to old feelings of guilt and shame.
