Our Vision

Teaching Tantric Spirituality: Six Gateways to Sacred Sexuality

The Six Gateways are a doorway to learning the spiritual practice of channeling your sexual energy. They are not the be-all and end-all of "how to do it". Rather, they are one entrance, one doorway to the path of learning that is shamanic tantra, enlightenment through the body. They are a spiral path, ever-circling into a center where all paths meet. You begin with learning to connect to your own vision of the Great Spirit, and cycle through to a place where your union of your inner masculine and feminine selves makes you whole. From here, you go around the circle again, going deeper, closer to the center of the spiral. As you practice each gateway, your own inner barriers begin to open, and you become more loving, more connected, and more free. The six gateways originated for Kypris as a solo practice of clearing and balancing the spiritual/sexual life force, and blossomed into partner practice. It is up to you to decide whether you practice the gateways alone, with a partner, or both.

Enhancing Relationships

We see a world where relationships step outside the limited cultural models we are currently offered. As part of our teaching, we are creating a model of relationship that includes clear and open communication and honoring of the needs of the self, within the context of unity with a chosen community. We seek to assist others in finding freedom from the codependent and addictive dysfunction that is so prevalent in our society. Dr. Wayne Dyer says that all addiction is a longing to become one with spirit. We believe that taking personal responsibility for our own healing is the first step in healing from addictions to substances, negativity, drama, sadness, and control. Through this healing process, based in spiritual practice, we vision individuals moving forward into lives filled with laughter, joy, and love.

Creating Community

Our larger vision is to create a village-type community with the common purpose of exploring love, sexuality, and relationships in a spiritual and healthy co-commited way. This community will have classes, events, training programs, ceremonies, healing sessions, literature, and a tea shop, as well as an actual temple where members of the community can come to meditate and commune with spirit. We see this temple as being a beautiful natural park-like environment that is within 20 minutes or less of an urban area. It is our vision that this community will operate on the consensus model, with rotating leadership, so that its manifestation in this world reflects the spirit of all its members.
